  Annamarie Silvestera

Annamarie began her professional singing career at the age of 16 performing with a Philadelphia based society band.  Anna more than made up for her lack of experience with a powerful and versatile singing voice. Born with perfect pitch and a natural instinct for music, it became apparent to everyone that she had a special talent.  In March of 2006 Anna released her debut, solo CD, "Forget to Remember". The CD features 10 songs written by Battista with the title track wining the 2006 United Kingdom Songwriting Contest. Anna also co-wrote "Walk On By", which was runner up in the same contest and the #1 most downloaded song in the Battista song catalogue.

Anna's talents have added a dynamic and fresh element to the KB Band, singing everything from Patsy Kline, Etta James, Norah Jones and Shania Twain to Alicia Keys and Beyonce.
She is a new talent with an “old soul”.

Ken DiGiambattista
Battista has been writing songs and performing in bands since Middle School.  Most of those bands included several KB original songs in their repertoire. In 1998, Battista took a break from performing to focus on writing material for a new CD.  A year latter, "No More Wishin" was released and the Ken Battista Band was formed with the help of good friends Dave Ross and Juan Kamuca. The Band started out as a means to promote the newly released CD, but it soon became apparent that people wanted to hear more. The guys continued performing every weekend for the next few years and then started recording material for a new CD in 2003. "Whatever It Takes" was released in January 2004 followed by "Girl Gone Wild" in August 2007.  The band is busier than ever performing at clubs, corporate events and private parties through out the tri-state area including opening up at concerts for the Charlie Daniels Band and Kenny Rodgers.

Dave Ross
Dave's drumming keeps the dancers on the floor and moving at all times!  Born and raised in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Ross and Battista first crossed paths in the Upper Merion High School Jazz Band and Orchestra. After High School, Dave toured with several bands in the tri-state area.  It was in November 1998 that Dave reunited with Ken to promote Battista's newly released debut CD, "No More Wishin'".  The Ken Battista Band was formed and over 750+ gigs later, there's no turning back!  In addition to playing drums and co-producing The KB Band's latest CD, Ross's 4 octave vocal range continues to amaze the crowds. He effortlessly covers a range of vocal performances from the high falsetto of Earth Wind and Fire to the low, deep and seductive Barry White. Of course, you can also hear Dave sing lead on the title track of the KB Band CD, "Whatever It Takes".

Richard Plunket
Richard started playing guitar at age 10 and played his first professional gig at age 13. Growing up outside of Philadelphia (in West Chester, PA.) exposed him to the guitar and vocal styles of soul music and the Philly sound (Sigma Sound) as well as music coming out of Detroit (Motown), Chicago (Chess Records) and Memphis (Stax Records). After playing soul and R&B music extensively throughout his early years, he incorporated other guitar styles into his playing including: Carlos Santana, Chet Atkins, Earl Klugh, and many others. After graduating college with a computer science degree, Richard toured with show bands, country bands, classic rock bands, cover bands, horn bands, and extensively with wedding bands throughout the Philadelphia area. In the mid 1980s, Richard found himself in a Ken Battista lead band called Just Friends. Looking back, Richard and Ken both agree that playing together in Just Friends was just downright fun. They went their separate ways after a few years and have been reunited again in the Ken Battista Band. And guess what, it’s just as much fun as before! Soul music is often a natural progression into Jazz. Richard began studying Jazz in the 1980s and continues a serious study program today with world renowned Jazz guitarist Jimmy Bruno. You might catch some of Richard’s finger-style Jazz guitar during a first set. As diverse as his musical experiences have been, you will always hear those "sweet soul music" guitar influences in almost everything he plays.
